My Friday!

Today was riding day! Leanna, Sharon, Cindy and I loaded our horses in the trailers and headed out. Pam was in South Carolina at a women's conference! When we started out on the trails Sharon noticed that her horse was hurting in the shoulder so she decided not to ride and to head back home. Cindy had trailered with her so she headed back home too. Leanna and I went ahead and rode for an hour or so but then the skies started to get dark and we wanted to beat the rain so we headed back early!

This evening the four younger kids headed up to the church for youth which left me kidless. Lisa ended up calling and asked if I wanted to meet them at the movies after they went to a birthday party. I told her to call me because I was headed to the mall to pick up things for the kids Easter Baskets.

I didn't end up getting home until 10pm and then received another phone call from Lisa saying that they were headed home and asked me just to come over and hangout for awhile instead of going to the movies.

I still have a few more things to get for the kids Easter Baskets but I am almost done!

Glad you enjoy the pictures Jodi!

Cindy, I drive myself nuts if I wait to the last minute. I usually just end up grabbing things with no thought. If I start a month to a few weeks out I can usually find some things that have some meaning or find some things they really need!

I worked on Easter baskets today. We are on a super tight budget this year so it's going to be a skimpy Easter. I would imagine the grandparents will take care of the sugar aspect of the holiday and I can focus on getting the kids small gifts. :) Did you finish your shopping?

I'm with Jodi - it's lovely to pop by and see horse pictures.
