More views of our soon to be new land!

My friend Angela called me on the way home from the school and asked if she could take a look at the property we are buying. Angela's daughter is going to be getting a horse and she is considering boarding with us. So, Sierra and I headed over there to meet her.
Me and Angela - thanks Sierra for taking our picture!
The last time I posted pictures I showed you the back pasture. I thought I would show you all the part of the land that backs up to our current land. The back acres have beautiful oak trees! (Angela - here are pictures of the wire that is hanging - the next three pictures show it from one end to the other)
There is also a chicken coop. Sierra found a hen nesting on her eggs!

We are inheriting a beautiful turkey and lots of chickens!Angela spoted this hen with her chicks! John, our neighbor who we are buying the property from has a blacksmith shop where he makes all kinds of fun stuff!
A year or so ago John made me this hoof pick. If you look at the far right hand side of the pick you can see where he even engraved my initials! Here is a picture me and John. The picture came out kind of dark for some reason!

Thanks John and Tina for being wonderful neighbors. We will miss you!

Thanks Cindy! It is starting to get more exciting as we get closer. We are still probably a month away from closing!

Emily - I LOVE seeing pictures of the land. It's just so beautiful. Are all the kids excited about it?

I forgot to comment, a while back, about how beautiful Alexia looked with her dress (prom?). She has the most gorgeous smile!

Kathy - the excitement is starting to set in. At first we didn't want to get too excited until things were more finalized but we just received a tenative April closing date for the 23rd . . . so hopefully next month it will all be done!
