Builder at Work!

Landon has got the most incredible imagination. I love to sit on the back porch and watch him play. Earlier this week he started working on this t-pee type fort. He went into the woods and found these huge sticks and started making it. He asked me for some material so he could cover it up. We ended up heading to thrift stores, Good Will and even the dollar store to see what we could come with. I ended up finding this HUGE bag of old fabric. It was perfect for what he wanted. Here he is hard at work nailing something . . .

Sierra is testing it out . . .it's still not finished but he is making headway.
Proud momma asked for a quick picture!
Sierra was twirling with the left over purple fabric he didn't want. I can't wait to see what type of fun things they are going to play.
You may wonder why I am posting a picture of a tree. Well, this is my favorite tree that is on our property. I don't know why . . but everytime I look at that tree it makes me smile. I know . .. you are thinking . . she is really weird but there is something about that tree that I love.

While the kids were building the fort I decided to start pressure washering the pool deck. The kids have been swimming alot since the temps have been close to 83 all week. I was going to have someone take a picture of me working soooooooo hard but I forgot.

Earlier today Lisa and I cleaned the church and office buildings. Ken surprised us and brought us Planet Smoothies . . . Yum!!! Thanks Ken!

Well, after a long day of cleaning and then pressure washering . . I am wiped out. I am so excited for tomorrow because mom and dad are coming in town! Until tomorrow . . . .

Nice work, Landon! You and my son would get along quite well... he built is own travois a few weeks ago! It would look mightly fine sitting outside your teepee.
