They are finally moved in!
For all my SHS friends. Cynthia called me this morning on her way down to go on the cruise. We were not able to connect on this visit but it was good to talk to her on the phone. She said they had a great weekend and they have a great week planned on their cruise.
This morning I was suppose to go to work but decided not to because I was going to try to see my friend Kelley from Indiana who is in town for one more day. So, this morning I headed over to Lisa's to help her finish up with the house. Ken and his parents headed over to their old house to give it a good cleaning. So, while they worked on the old house . . Lisa and I worked on finishing the new house. By the end of the afternoon we had EVERYTHING - EVERY Room - EVEN the Garage unboxed and put away. The only room we didn't do was Ken's office. Halfway through the day the electric company showed up and turned on their power. That made it official - they would have their first night there tonight. I am so glad we were able to unpack everything before they actually moved in. On a sad note, something ended up coming up so I wasn't able to see my friend. I went home and made dinner and took care of what I needed to take care of. After Sierra and Landon went to sleep - Taylor, Alexia and I played SKIPBO - we love that game. Lisa then dropped by around 10:15 pm because we both needed groceries . . .so we headed to Wal-Mart. I am now home and it is 12:30 am . . .I am tired so I am heading to sleep.
Carlos ended up flying home today. He was in Oregon preaching at a church and teaching at a Bible School for since last week. He is so tired . . he had to preach at our Bible School tonight too so he is now asleep. Here are a few pictures of the kids rooms at Lisa's house.
Ava's room
Christian's Room
Kaitlyn's room.
We stopped halfway through the day and ran through a drive thru. We came home to eat and the kids ended up having their first meal in their new house.
To my friend Lisa (aka Lucy) . . . girl it has a been a long road to this night for you. You and Ken had so much patience during your building process. I am so excited for you guys! Congratulations on your new home. It is beautiful and I am so happy that we were able to get everything organized and unpacked. . . I do believe every box is now out of your house and is in the garbage. It was good to see tonight even Ken's office is now setup. You can now sit back and enjoy your new house without having to stress at thinking you still need to unpack . . It is finished!!!! Glad you are now officially my neighbor! Love ya, Emily (aka Ethel)

Emily, thanks for the update on Cynthia! I was hoping to see some pics tonight of all of you together, and now I will know that she's already breezed through Florida! Maybe you'll have to go to Montana. When it's warm . . .
:)
Congrats to Lucy on the first night in her new home. It is a beautiful home.
We were both bummed it didn't work out this time. Thankfully we met the last time she was here. We were both hoping for some "blog" pictures . .. next time!
Thanks De'Etta! I will pass those words on to Lisa.
I was SO BUMMED that we didn't get to see each other. I'll have to dig through my photos and see if I can find a picture of us from the last time... of course you might have one more handy than I.
