Pregnancy Photo's Blessing # 4 - Landon

Back when Alexia was 4 years old she told me that she was praying for another brother or sister. Well, in April 95 we found out that her prayers were answered . . we were expecting baby number 4. We were so excited! When we first got married we always said we would have at least 4 children so we felt like we might be complete . . little did we know that God would have different plans :-) more on number five at a later date.

Here we are on a special night out. I am not sure if it's Disney, Sea World or somewhere else! I believe I was 8 1/2 months pregnant. About 8 months pregnant.Me and three blessings on the outside and one blessing on the inside. Jordan was 7 , Alexia was 5 and Taylor was 3.

9 months pregnant!
Me and Carlos tummy to tummy . . . he was exaggerating his stomach . .I wasn't!!!! :-)
I had such a great experience being induced with blessing number three that I asked my doctor if he could induce me again. Here I am all ready to start labor. . I was just waiting for the pitocin to kick in!
Trying to sleep through my contractions . .. later on I got an epidural . . .I am definitly going to tell the Lord THANK YOU for givng men knownledge to invent the epidural :-)
Landon Thomas arrived weight 8 pounds 5 ounces and 20 inches long. He was sweet the day he came out of me and he is the sweetest little boy today! Here I am all teared up again! These are wonderful tears of JOY!

Taylor was 3 years old when Landon was born. He loved Landon but he wasn't too sure about him too. He needed extra loving and snuggles from mommy.
Later on we found them both sound asleep in my bed! I guess Landon was beginning to grow on him :-)

Sweet brother picture! I love capturing those moments of sibling affection.

I'm with you - I am so thankful for epidurals!!! Only way to go, in my opinion, but then I'm not fond of pain. :)

I am not fond of pain at all. In fact, I was not a very good child when my mom took me to the doctor's when I was little . . .and boy was I horrible when they told me I had to get a shot. I look back now and realize how embarrassed my mom must have been . .. I can't stand needles to this day!!!! BUT - like you said - THANK GOODNESS for the Epidural!

I don't like pain either, but I don't like the feeling of not being in control either so I never did try an epidural with any of my labors.

Cindy - when I get the epidurals - I request them to give it to me very lightly . . . I still want to feel pressure . . just not pain:-)
