Packing Day 3
Well, today was our last BIG packing day. Today we hit the garage. They had boxes that had been in their storage unit for months so we went through everyone weeding out what she wanted to take with her. We ended up getting rid of another carload of stuff that is heading to our thrift store. The packing is now 90% complete! Yea! All that is left is Ken's tools and the items in the attic. Ken and Lisa surprised me and asked me to go out to dinner with them . . .their treat. We headed to our favorite Pizza place. They have the most incredible calamari which we had for an appetizer. Lisa took this picture of me and Kaitlyn and Christian . . again we have the problem of their eyes closing during pictures taken with my camera . . . oh well . . they are still adorable!
Christian is my little buddy. He is so loving. He kept giving me kisses on my cheek . . . gotta love this little guy! And his eyes are open!!! Yea!!!!
Thanks Ken for treating me to dinner. We are looking so forward to having you Lisa and the kids as neighbors . . .we can't wait for Saturday!

How fun to have friends as neighbors! My eyes are ALWAYS closed in pictures.
My grandma has the same problem . We always get so excited when we get one photo with them open!
Ken and Lisa are great friends and they are a blast to be around.
Oh, I LOVE having friends close by as neighbors. We live near some friends and the older kids can walk or ride over (always handy when you need a cup of flour or a jar of spaghetti sauce). :)
Isn't that truth Kathy. I am so excited that they will be literally just down the street!
