Our Tuesday Happenings!
I had the pleasure of spending the day with my niece Selena today. We had a busy but fun day. Today was Landon's class Christmas Party at school. I was asked by his room mother to bring a snack and help out. So, Selena and I headed to the school around 10:30 am. The room mother had brought enough crafts to have 3 different centers where the kids could make different ornaments and a Christmas decoration. Here is Landon making a Santa Nutcracker.
The finished product . . . . .While I was helping out at the ornament tables I looked over to check on Selena and I noticed she was surrounded by a bunch of the boys. It was so cute - the guys not the girls were totally into getting her snacks, a drink and they entertained her. They will all make great father's some day :-)
Landon and his friend at the ornament table.Landon's teacher put on this fun music and the boys started doing some "rap" type dancing. I was happily surprised at their rhythem including my son who is normally a little on the quiet side.
After the party Selena and I headed home to wait for Lisa and the kids. When they got to my house we headed over to the barn to take the kids on a horse ride. The weather was a beautiful 75 degrees - a perfect riding day! Here I am with Christian

We then headed to the front porch. Kaitlyn wanted to listen to some Christmas music so we flipped the music on.Selena started clapping her hands.then took a break when she asked to go on the swing.Kaitlyn then said -come on "Ebby" - that is what she call me - "Let's dance". So, she and I boogied on the front porch to Christmas music.About a half hour later, Selena's grandmother came by to pick her up. Sierra and Kaitlyn decided they were hot and wanted to swim - so it was back in the pool again today! In the backyard Landon and the neighbor friends were using their "imagination" - I love when they do that - and were playing some kind of fort. As the kids played . . . . Cassie watched everything!I now have Sierra asleep in bed and Landon will be shortly. I am going to throw my jammies on and attempt to write our Annual Christmas Letter. This year is the LATEST that I have ever sent out cards. I do have the envelopes all addressed and the cards are here and waiting to be stuffed as soon as I get my letter written and copied. Hopefully you all will be receiving them before Christmas! I also hope to get in a few episodes of the second season of LOST. Lisa brought over the next box series so I am anxiously waiting to see what happens.

wow - what a full day.
Selena has gorgeous eyes.
You can say that again! I think my days are all going to remain busy until after Christmas.
Emily, does Jordan attend a regular ps? I'm wondering, between the paneling, computers, etc. . . . it looks like something I'd expect from a charter school here (and charters here are good things).
Sounds like you had a wonderful busy day. I can't believe how big Landon has gotten so big.
Hi Kristine,
Yes, Landon and Sierra both attend a charter school. It is WONDERFUL and the kids LOve it!
Thanks Giselle - we just celebrated Sierra's 7th today - the 21st.
