Landon is 11 years old!

Yesterday was Landon's 11th birthday. The night before Carlos and I has just gone to bed (around 1:00 am) . Just as I was drifting off to sleep Carlos said, "What are doing tomorrow?" All of a sudden I remembered that I forgot to decorate the birthday chair for Landon. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs and started decorating. Thank goodness I had bought the balloon earlier in the day and had all of his presensts wrapped. The next morning he woke up and we headed downstairs to open up his morning his present. (Remember, we give 3 presents - breakfast, lunch and dinner present) Here he is waiting for breakfast and to open his first present.

He requested cinammon rolls for breakfast. I used our YOU ARE SPECIAL TODAY plate on birthdays and special occassions. He opened his morning present and he recieved a PSP game. After school his Pops and Nana picked him up and took him to Wal-mart so he could go birthday shopping. He ended up picking up two more PSP games. When he got home he opened his lunch present . . .he received a New York Yankee sweatshirt and bag.
We were going out for dinner so before we left we had him open his dinner present. He received two shirts, a pair of cargo shorts and a baseball frame.

He also received a LEGO set from my mom and dad and a LEGO set not shown from my sister and their family.

He also received money from my brother and his family and my sister in law and her family. Thank you everyone for blessing Landon on his birthday.

That looks like a nice field trip. It looks like Sierra loved having her mum along!

Yes, I think she really enjoyed that I was there. I missed the first field trip because there were so many mothers that wanted to attend they had to limit it. Thankfully, I made it to this one.

When Jordan turned 18 this past summer my husband suggested not putting up the birthday chair - he said he had probably outgrown it. Last night I was talking to Jordan and I said it was kind of sad that this year he didn't have the birthday chair . . .he said why didn't you put it up . .. I said dad thought you were "too old". Jordan then said he wouldn't not mind still having it. I am now thinking about just decorating it for him now and taking pictures even though his birthday was back in June. :-)
