The Christmas Parade!

Today was a town's Christmas Parade. Sierra's baton twirler's class participated in the parade. So, we headed to town around 12 noon to drop her off with the group and then we went to get a good seat. It was a little difficult getting into the Christmas Parade when it was in the 80's but we did our best! The parade was great and Sierra did an awesome job. After the parade we headed to Tractor Supply to get pine shavings for Farley's stall. I love when I have Carlos with me because he helps me carry them from the truck to the barn :-) Here are a few pictures from the parade.

80 degrees! Now THAT's my kind of Christmas parade! We skipped ours tonight. I think it was 16 degrees.

I've braved Denver's parade in the past, taking Trevor when he was 3-1/2 months old, sitting in the outdoor bleachers while it SNOWED and he was all bundled up in my arms the entire time! I wouldn't do it now (he's too big to hold, haha), but it's fun to remember.

It was a little difficult getting in to the whole Christmas spirit when we were all sweating from the humidity!

We didn't realize the parade was yesterday. Not that we could of gone. Daniel is still under the weather.

My Babe and I happen to go shopping downtown a little after 2p. We saw lots of traffic. Then realized it was cause of the parade.

It was raining around that time. Good thing it didn't rain on your parade. (pun intended) LOL! :o)

Sierra looks adorable!

The rain actually started about 15 minutes after it ended. That was definitly a God thing :-)

WOW... it would be just as hard to have a parade in 80 degree weather as it would be in our near zero weather I suppose! Looks like fun!

I'm with you about the Christmas Spirit, Emily. I told the children that a hot and humid Christmas is more authentic but they don't really buy it. LOL

I never thought about that De'Etta! I am going to use that the next time we are sweating in December :-)
