Ava's First Movie Outing
Back when our kids were just wee little we would need a night out so we would leave the older kids with my mom and grab the baby and head to the movies. It's actually the perfect age because they sleep the whole time or just wake up to nurse. So, tonight was Ava's first night at the theater. She stayed in her carrier virtually the whole movie except the time she nursed. She didn't make a peep the whole time. When we were waiting to go into the movie I couldn't help but snap this picture . . . the GodFather holding the diaper bag and Ken guarding the baby :-)

Sounds like you all had a great time. It was funny to see you call them wee ones. That's a term that I use. :o) I hadn't heard anyone else use it in a long time. I picked it up years ago from Touched by an Angel. I love the sound of it. :o)
My Babe and I use to take the wee ones to the theater too. Amazing how they can sleep through anything!
I hate to admit this, but I STILL fall asleep at movies! It's so relaxing.. the kids can't get out of the aisle past me, etc.! If we're going to a movie with adult friends I always have to take a nap first. Something about me and sitting for any length of time... I fall asleep.
