I VOTED - Have You?
Around 10:30 am this morning, I did my civic duty and went to VOTE. I love the way I feel after I walk out of the voting booth. I know I have done my part as an American. Have you voted yet? It's not too late. Every vote in this election is going to count. Your VOTE will make a difference.
After I voted I headed to our church office. I wanted to make sure our staff had voted :-) Here are two of our staff members who already voted!
Pastor George already voted!
Every Tuesday Lisa and I volunteer at our church office. We went to have lunch at this great pizza place that makes the most INCREDIBLE New York Pizza and the most INCREDIBLE Garlic Rolls. Yummmm! After we had lunch we headed over to our Food Bank. We wanted to see if our staff over there had voted :-) We ended up finding my inlaws there. They are so faithful - they volunteer at the Food Bank a few times each week. I know they voted - they went to vote with Carlos this morning on the way to take him to the airport.
Here is Frank and Yolanda and Millie. Millie is the manager of our Food Bank. I told Frank - if Millie hasn't voted - get her out of there (just kidding) - she had already voted too.
Here is Freddie - he already sent in his absentee ballot days earlier.

Nick, in the black shirt is another staff member. He had not voted yet but he promised he was going to after work. The other two gentlemen are actually homeless men who volunteer 6 days a week at the pantry. On a side note, these same two guys along with one other homeless friend Cindy - go every Sunday night into the big city and help feed the homeless with members of our church. That is pretty cool - the homeless feeding the homeless :-)

Looks like your church is a GREAT blessing to your community.
So, glad you're blogging!

Our food bank just opened up two weeks ago and we are already feeding hundreds of people. It is amazing!
