I miss my honey!

I am really missing my honey! I know ten days is not that long to be separated especially when I have friends and family who have spouses gone on deployment for six or more months but I still miss him. He has not been able to communicate at all with me for days. My heart goes out to those whose spouses are gone for months at a time - my prayers are with you and your kids. For those of you who didn't know me when we first got married- we had a very rocky start. The cool thing is now 19 1/2 years later we are more in love than we have ever been. We enjoy spending time together. We both have different hobbies but we are working on finding more and more hobbies for us to do together. We love sitting on the front porch in the evening as the sun goes down - those are some of our best talks. We love going on walks or going out for coffee and just chatting. We have a quaint little town nearby - it is like something from out of the past - we love to go down there and walk and talk. Well, he will be home later this week but my heart and prayers will go out to the other wives whose spouses won't be home for months. Lean on the Lord as times get rough - he will be there to bring you the comfort you need until your honey comes home.

Aw, Emily, I can relate. I hate it when my dh is gone overnight. But I do enjoy not having to cook, haha.

We've had regular ups and downs, currently on a huge up, and I am so thankful. It's such a blessing to be emotionally close with my dh, and it benefits our entire family. There is *every* motivation to keep it going!

I can also relate to the cooking - even though I enjoy cooking it is nice to have a break.
