Happy 14th Birthday Taylor!

Happy 14th Birthday Taylor! For those of you who have known me for years, you know I always make a "birthday chair". The birthday age gets put on the wall with streamers -I add a birthday balloon and we decorate a name plate for the table. Also, we have ALWAYS had the tradition of only buying 3 presents from us. One they open at breakfast, one at lunch and the last one at dinner. This was much easier when we homeschooled because the kids would be home for lunch but now that the kids are in school we open the lunch present as soon as they get home. We usually have a "family" birthday party with the relatives and that is when he opens their presents. It's hard to believe Taylor is now 14. He was my biggest baby - he was two weeks late and weighed in at a whopping 9 pounds 5 ounces and was 22 inches long. Taylor is a lot of fun to be around. He has been a joy and we love him very much! Breakast present - AXE Kit - Body spray, deoderant, shampoo and body wash. He also received an American Eagle shirt and 3 packs of gum.

Lunch or after school present - socks, boxers, undershirts - I know this had to be his favorite present :-0

Dinner present- ahhhhhhhhh- just what he wanted -a cell phone. With the kids being in school we bought cell phones for our high schooler and for Taylor so they could get a hold of us.

Tonight my brother in law Ray surprised Taylor and gave him a ticket to the NBA game here in town. (I don't want to say the team for privacy reasons) . He is so excited and is waiting to go as I type. Happy Birthday Taylor! We love you!

Happy Birthday to Taylor. I just love those gifts! And the cell phone is imperative. In fact, my teens got theirs, and I got mine too, a few years ago for (believe it or not) for my Mother's Day gift. That's what I asked for. It's great. I can call them when they are out anytime, anywhere... and they better answer!!! :)
