Thanksgiving Recipes Part 1

Here are my side dishes baking in the oven. Oh - if there were only cyber smell. With the smell of the turkey and the smell of these sides we are in scent heaven :-) Mema always makes the deviled eggs. Also, she has on her "tradition" sweater on. She has worn this sweater for years on Thanksgiving - it has now become tradition for her to wear it on this day. Mema is 87 - but I don't think she looks that old. Love you Mema!

Ooh, I'm copying down your marinated salad recipe, Emily. We went to Santa Clause 3 yesterday too!

That salad is so good and every time I make it and take it somewhere people ask for the recipe!

So much food! I'm feeling very stuck in a rut after seeing all these wonderful recipes on people's blogs today. I must try some new things for Christmas!

Looks like you had a wonderful day. Loved the pictures of your dogs helping dad on his computer.

I feel so behind Jodi - I have not had that much time to be on the computer the last 3 or 4 days so I feel so out of touch with everyone! Hopefully next week I will get some reading time in.

De'Etta - it is so yummy and one of my favorite salads. It's a nice change from a tossed salad once in a while.
