Creamy Chicken Noodle Casserole

Some of you all have reminded me that I forgot to post the dish that I brought to the neighborhood party. Sorry, I forgot :-)

Creamy Chicken Noodle Casserole
1 12 ounce package of Homestyle Egg Noodles
1/2 cup onion
2 T butter or margarine
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
1 cup milk
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cups soft bread crumbs

Cook noodles as directed on package. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet cook onion in butter until tender. Stir in soup and milk then chicken and cheese. Cook and stir until cheese melts. Remove from heat and stir in cooked noodles. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Top with bread crumbs and bake uncovered for 35 minutes.
