Sierra's Class Fall Party
I am the room mother for Sierra's First Grade Class. Today we had a Fall Party. I love this school for many reasons - there are many Christian teachers and faculty. Also, they do not celebrate Halloween - they celebrate fall - which makes Carlos and I happy because we have never celebrated Halloween with any of the kids. They do not allow the kids to dress up either. So, I rallied the parents together and we had a successful party!
Here is a picture of some of the goodies the parents sent in.
Selena is spending the weekend with us so she came to the party with me.
I made simple s'mores. You take graham crackers, Hershey Chocolate Bars and Kraft Marshmellow Cream. Make sure you spread the Marshmellow Cream on both the top and bottom of the s'more. Yum!!!!!!

Glad to see that things have changed at the school. When my Alexandra went there the little ones dressed up for halloween. Her teacher during quiet time played a Harry Potter cd.
That was six years ago.
Praise the Lord things have changed. These are new times.
